Saad Sadollah is the Commercial and Business Development Advisor to the KRG Minister of Natural Resources, Dr Ashti Hawrami. He is of Kurdish heritage and was born in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul. Saad spent his initial career as a Petroleum Analyst / Consultant with Deloitte’s Petroleum Services based in London. More recently, he worked for the independent US oil firm Hess as a Commercial Manager. Saad has worked on oil and gas projects around the world including in the UK, Norway, Denmark, Netherlands, Azerbaijan, Libya, Egypt, Qatar, Malaysia and Indonesia. He currently specializes in gas strategy, petroleum economics and contractual negotiations for the Kurdistan Regional Government. He holds BEng in Civil Engineering from Queen Mary’s College, and a Petroleum Engineering Masters from Imperial College.
